Guy VOYER, DO
was a European Osteopath who also trained
in classical Medicine (DO and MD). He created the ELDOA method by mastering
the function of and harnessing the power of the fascial system.
Through deep understanding of biotensegrity biomechanics, Dr. VOYER created
exercises and manual treatments to normalize the body.
Most notably, VOYER developed the ELDOA™ techniques.
ELDOAs
are active postural exercises that use
self-initiated fascial tension to fix one point and draw another one away creating 'space' or a decoaptation.
While commonly thought of as treatment for the spine, ELDOAs exist to treat accessory joints as well as those of the rib cage, pelvis and cranium.

ELDOA emerged from a desire to heal back pain.

During his pursuit, VOYER studied various points of view with discernment. The culmination of his studies led him to develop an intervention rooted in exercise which addressed the cause rather than the symptom.
VOYER studied his patients for research, applying his new method and collecting data.

His data reiterated what he knew to be true - that ELDOAs provided relief from back pain and an improvement in posture. For example, those with scoliosis had a reduction in their Cobb angle (the spinal curve severity measurement) and the natural degeneration of the spine.

Additionally, he discovered that ELDOAs were improving the health of the organ systems.

For example- via the fascial link acid reflux and PMS pain were relieved.
ELDOAs
can improve disc degeneration,
arthritis and nerve function.
ELDOAs
-
increase blood flow
-
hydrate spinal discs
-
reduce disc compression
-
improve movement and posture
An ELDOA
practice is for everyone.
By making the invisible rhythm of the nervous system visible, ELDOA can expand ones capacity for contentment and facilitate embodiment and wellbeing.
